Kyushu Q1W1 Tokai "Lorna".  This is a generic scheme representing no particular aircraft. A total of 153 Q1Ws were built by Kyushu Hikoki K. K. between September 1943 and August 1945.

TECHNICAL DATA

Description: Twin-engined anti-submarine patrol aircraft (Q1W1 and Q1W2) and crew trainer (Q1W1-K). All-metal construction (Q1W1), mixed metal and wood construction (Q1W2) or all-wood construction (Q1W1-K).

Accommodation: Crew of three (Q1W1 and Q1W2) or four (Q1W1-K) in enclosed cockpits.

Powerplant: Two 610 hp Hitachi GK2C Amakaze 31 nine-cylinder air-cooled radials, rated at 610 hp for take-off and 480 hp at 1,500 m, driving three-blade variable-pitch metal propellers.

Armament: 
One flexible rear-firing 7.7 mm Type 92 machine-gun and (optional) one or two forward-firing 20 mm Type 99 cannon. 
External stores: two 250 kg bombs or depth-charges.
